Lane Bryant Earns an A+ for On-Going Support of Teachers!

Beginning September 1, Lane Bryant kicks off their fourth year fundraising on behalf of AdoptAClassroom.org and our nation’s teachers. The fashion retailer’s annual Chalk it up to STYLE campaign provides a great way for teachers to prepare, and save, for the upcoming school year.

Throughout the entire month of September, Lane Bryant celebrates educators by offering them a special 15% discount on all merchandise, including new fall looks. In addition, customers can raise their hand for education by kicking in their spare change at check-out through the retailer’s register round up program. All monies raised will go directly to teachers and their classrooms in Lane Bryant communities.

For added fun, all Lane Bryant stores will host in-store events on September 14, teachers and school staff with valid ID or paystub will receive 25% savings all day long. The perfect time for teachers to refresh their professional wardrobe (and weekend wear).

To date, Lane Bryant has raised more than $470,000 for AdoptAClassroom.org teachers in the nearly 700 communities where they do business. This means more than 2000 teachers have been adopted (funded) and more than 50,000 students have the school supplies they need to succeed. See more about Lane Byant’s partnership with us here.

Here’s what a couple of adopted teachers have to say:

“Thank you so much for the donation to my classroom. As a Lane Bryant shopper myself, I was excited to see that one of my favorite stores had adopted my classroom, too! Your generosity will help buy supplies for my class as our yearly budget is so small. Every little bit helps!” – Candace, Special Education Teacher

“WOW! Words cannot express my gratitude. Thank you so much for supporting me in a challenging first year! I’m really enjoying my class and especially first grade. I am excited to use this donation to improve my classroom for not only my current students, but for years to come. Thank you for supporting first year teachers like myself, not only improving our lives as teachers, but our students’ lives as well.” – Summer, 1st Grade Teacher
