As a former teacher, I know how hard it can be to get the classroom supplies needed to help students learn and succeed. School budgets are shrinking and teachers are using their own money to purchase the supplies they need just to do their job. At this time of year, many teachers are running out of supplies, and facing the need to re-stock their classrooms for the new semester.
So I want to thank you for your past support of AdoptAClassroom.org, and ask you to please join me this holiday season by adopting one or more teachers to help us reach our goal of 3,000 new teacher adoptions by year end. If we do this together, we will help more than 75,000 students in classrooms across the country.
