*** The Donation Match Has Ended: $0 in matching funds remain.***

Thank you to everyone who made a gift to a classroom this Teacher Appreciation Week. If you made a gift, you will receive a donation match confirmation email later this week.

Still want to help? Find and support a teacher here.

This Teacher Appreciation Week, starting May 6th, every unique donation to a classroom will be matched up to $50.*

96% of teachers spend their own money to make sure their students have the supplies they deserve to succeed in school. Support the teachers in your community and across the nation with a gift that shows them how much you care.

Teachers are on the frontlines of education every day, fighting to make sure their students have a fair shot in life. Your gift has the power to brighten a teacher’s day and build a student’s future.

*Matching begins at 10 AM CST on Monday, 5/6/2019 and ends when we hit our goal of $4,000 in donations. Donations must be processed online between 5/6/2019 and 5/10/2019 as part of the first $4,000 in donations. Mailed checks and pledges are not eligible for a match. We will update this page the moment the match runs out.

To help as many classrooms as possible:

  • Unique donations will be matched up to a maximum of $50
  • If an individual makes 1+ donation(s) to different teachers, all donations will be matched
  • If an individual makes 1+ donation(s) to the same teacher, only one donation will be matched
  • If a teacher receives 1+ donation(s) from different donors, all donations will be matched
  • If a teacher donates to their own classroom, the donation is not eligible for a match

Teachers will receive the matching donation in approximately one week in their AdoptAClassroom.org account. Donors will be notified via email by 6pm CST on 5/10/2019 to confirm their donation match.

Thank you to our partner ACE Cash Express for supporting education with the Teacher Appreciation Week 2019 donation match.

  1. Hello, I teach 9th, 10th, and 12th grade English. I am raising money to help engage students in reading. I look for titles students identify with, and therefore, enjoy reading. I also purchase supplies students use to complete projects as a way of making reading interactive. Reading is fundamental and so important to academic success. Thank you so very much for your contribution.

Hello! I teach second grade and am raising money to engage the students in math. Through hands on materials and games, the students will have opportunities to engage in math in fun and exciting ways. Funds will also be used to build comprehension skills with cooperative groups. Please help these kiddos in order to make school way cool. Thank you for your contribution.

Hello, I teach fourth grade, special education class. I’m looking to raise money to see if I can buy a flexible table or a flex space mobile standing desk or brand new classroom library to motive my students to read. Reading is very important to any students. But sometimes we need to make sure that we provide special accommodation to address student’s need. If I get the money I need to buy these materials, I’m pretty sure my students will benefit and be more motivate to read every single day in class and at home. Thank you so much for your contribution to our class.
