$75 Social Media Giveaway: National Haiku Poetry Day

We’re celebrating National Haiku Poetry Day with a $75 teacher giveaway, and you don’t have to be a teacher to enter!

On April 17th, we’ll post this National Haiku Poetry Day image on our Facebook page, asking that you submit a haiku about your favorite classroom supply in the comments. You’ll have one week to comment on our Facebook post with a haiku to enter to win $75 for a teacher of your choice.
The haiku with the most “reactions” (likes, loves, etc.) in the comments of our post by 9:30 a.m. CST on April 24th will win $75 for a teacher on AdoptAClassroom.org.

Example Haikus
Last year, these were some of the great haiku submissions:
Haiku About Books
Books, support, and time,
to help all my children grow.
They are our future.

Haiku About Seating
I cannot sit still.
Focusing can be mad hard.
I need a good seat.

Teachers: Make sure to share our National Haiku Poetry Day social post with your friends and family so they can join in on the fun, and enter your classroom to win $75 by submitting their own haiku, and reacting to yours!
The $75 prize will be deposited in a teacher’s AdoptAClassroom.org account within one week after a winner is selected. May the best classroom supply haiku win!
