Subaru Partners with AdoptAClassroom.org to Help Classrooms in Need

Subaru of America is committed to making the pursuit of knowledge available to as many minds as possible. That is why Subaru, its retailers, and AdoptAClassroom.org are partnering together this August as part of the Subaru Loves Learning initiative to help bring classroom supplies to students across the country.

Each classroom supply kit will include $200 worth of basic school and art supplies that will give 25 students in need the tools for success. The donated supplies consist of essential classroom materials, like pencils, crayons, and notebooks that the average teacher has to purchase for their students using money from their own pocket.

This isn’t the first time Subaru has joined AdoptAClassroom.org in helping students who lack basic school supplies. Last August, Subaru and Subaru retailers nationwide raised over $90,000 to support AdoptAClassroom.org’s mission, helping over 200 schools in need of supplies.

Through the Subaru Love Promise, a companywide commitment to doing good for the sake of doing good, Subaru and Subaru retailers promise to make a positive impact on the world and the communities in which they live and work. They have upheld this promise over the last 20 years by donating more than $65 million to nonprofit organizations with a focus on education, healthcare, community and hunger, the environment, and animal welfare. AdoptAClassroom.org is proud of this partnership with Subaru and we hope to continue working with them to help classrooms in need of supplies.
