#WorthIt: Teacher Appreciation Week 2016

It’s that time of year again: the one week when teachers get the appreciation you deserve year-round. At AdoptAClassroom.org, Teacher Appreciation Week (Beginning Monday, May 2) is our favorite time of year, because we get to celebrate our favorite people! Everyday we see the dedication and support you give your students, and this is our special chance to say thank you.

Check out how to get involved in the fun:

#worthit1. Share your #WorthIt moment on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram

What makes the difficult parts of teaching worth it to you? When you share your #WorthIt moment on FacebookTwitter, or Instagram and tag AdoptAClassroom.org, you will be entered in a drawing to win one of 10 $20 Starbucks gift cards sponsored by Carmichael Lynch and Spong PR.

Need some inspiration? Check out some of our favorite #WorthIt moments from last year. We can’t wait to hear what you come up with.

1. Think of one moment that made all the hardships of teaching really worth it for you this year.

2. (Optional) find a picture that sums up the moment.

3. Share your story on FacebookTwitter, or Instagram with the hashtag “#WorthIt” and tag AdoptAClassroom.org.

4. You’ll be entered to win a Starbucks gift card!

BB Tablet Giveaway2. Win BIG when you encourage your donors to give.

When you receive a donation of any amount to your classroom between May 2 and May 6, you’ll be entered to win:

2 SECOND PRIZES: $600 on AdoptAClassroom.org

Encourage your family, friends, and past-donors to support your classroom during Teacher Appreciation Week! Need a little extra help recruiting donations? Check out our guide: “#PackYourBag: A Guide to Crowdfunding Your Classroom”
